You'll know that you always have a great place to stay when you go on vacation! No matter what your vacation budget, you can probably afford a timeshare. There are lots of different types of timeshares. You could go with a property from a well-known name. There are timeshares associated with Marriott and Disney, for example. These timeshares are great because they come with great benefits. You get luxurious housing and often added bonuses like pools, golf courses and much more. And with the points you can earn, you can receive extras like car rental, airfare and even cruise vacations! Also, some of the resort timeshares out there let you exchange your time for time at other resort locations around the world.

You could choose to buy a timeshare, or rent one. If you're buying, then going for timeshares that are listed for sale by owner are probably your best bet. There are also timeshare brokers who offer various timeshares for rent, lease or resale. While timeshare properties make excellent accommodations for vacationers, they're not the world's best investments. So when looking at a timeshare, make sure you're looking at it as a place to stay while on vacation.

One choice you will need to make when researching timeshare deals is whether or not you want a fixed timeshare or a floating timeshare. With a fixed timeshare, you're required to take your vacation at the same time each year. If you can, this is probably the most affordable option. Then there are floating timeshares, which may be a bit more costly. With a floating timeshare you can reserve the property (pending availability) for different dates each year. This is good for people who aren't always able to schedule their vacation for the same time each year.
